Securely access your Bybit account: steps, common issues and security best practices.
This guide explains how to sign in to your Bybit account on web and mobile, what to do when the login fails, and how to protect your account using strong authentication. Follow the steps carefully to avoid access issues and secure your funds.
Sign In. You may be asked to complete a captcha or identity verification if the system detects an unfamiliar device.Open the Bybit app, tap Log In, enter your email/phone and password, complete any prompted verification, and approve the 2FA code if enabled.
To reset your password, click Forgot password, enter your registered email/phone, and follow the link or code sent to you. For account recovery where 2FA device is lost, follow Bybit's official recovery process — typically it requires identity verification (ID, selfie) and support ticket submission.
Enable 2FA (Google Authenticator or similar) for stronger protection. Store your recovery codes in a secure place. If you lose access to your 2FA device, use the backup codes or start the recovery process with support.
Contact Bybit support if you cannot recover your account after following the reset and 2FA procedures, if your account shows unauthorized trades, or if you are asked to submit documents for identity verification. Keep copies of support ticket IDs and the email address used when contacting the team.
